Ours was big enough for an adult and a couple of kids (usually in their boots), but with any more than that, real hockey or real skating became somewhat difficult. Still fun, though.

Re: Winter Fun

What a *SWEET* rink. We use mostly propane and charcoal barbecues here, but we have the occasional campfire when the weather allows. I enjoy all three methods.
We are essentially meat-free now, so we don't barbecue as often as we used to, but I still like the flavour of grilled veggies and 'campfire toast'. And I miss burning my fingers on a blackened foil-wrapped baked potato.
Time to book a camping trip!

Re: Top Five Ways to EAT Green!

Not being able to spell Michelina's is a good sign. If you have leftover juice, keep it in a sealed jar in the fridge, but try to drink it within 24 hours. An extra day won't kill you, but it also won't be as beneficial.

Re: A Juicing Garden

Looking forward to finding out who else has tried this on the window sill, in the garden or on the farm. While sleep deprivation may not be the root cause of any recorded deaths, I am pretty sure it is and has been used as a form of torture in recorded history. lol

My personal moderate to severe sleep issues really have been brought to the forefront this last year. Thankfully the boys sleep well, for the most part. Me, not so much. Stupid Australian Open tennis and Olympics not helping much these days either. :)

Matt linked me here through facebook. The family looks well. Hope to see everyone sometime sooner rather than later.

Re: Baby Steps to Raw

Yes I agree - make life as easy as possible but unfortunately our minds never make anything simple do they?

I would definitely eat more raw of there more products in the shops here in Brighton... basically there is not enough choices and I know I could plan meals and create ahead of time but you know how it is! Sometimes its good to have the option of eating something outside. I tend to have daily a raw smoothie with berries and superfoods like cacao goji purple corn camu camu bee pollen and raw honey or a variation therof.

This gives me a lot of what I need; one which I made today; it was absolutely amazing and had in it the following: one papaya, TBSP of purple corn flour, same of acai powder, 10 or so incan berries, same of cashews, 2 tbsp of hemp seeds, raw honey and a nob of coconut oil - and blend it up with some water.

Dark honeys like heather tend to work well with papaya and the incan berries give a nice tang to contrasting taste to the coolness of the papaya. Good luck in your raw food journey!

Re: Easy Quiche

Thanks for the tip.
